Who is Adrian?
He is a family man who loves travelling, eating out (too much) enjoying life and do a bit of gardening now and then.
He likes going on short breaks with his daughter Libby during the school holidays.
She is his whole world, and she is the reason why he does what he does, so he can give her the opportunities to see the world.
Professionally, he always had an interest in the IT industry, which started in school, but as it was a new subject and his mother loved history, she made him pick that over IT.
After leaving school he started his studies, firstly at Llandaff Tech, then Cardiff Uni doing an evening course, which gave him the qualifications to start a degree at UMIST (now Manchester University).
While in university, he was lucky to get a job at Astra Zeneca (Huge pharmaceutical company. They are leading the way with the vaccine against Covid-19), where he received great training and learnt how to deal with clients at all levels, board members and complete technophobes.
On returning to Cardiff after finishing his degree, he has started Radford Computing, in August 1998.
He was contracting at financial institutions, and started learning more about IT Security.
At the same time, Radford Computing was used to help home users with any IT issues they were experiencing.
This, really helped with his knowledge and understanding of how hackers tried to gain control of users PCs and how viruses worked.
While Radford Computing grew, he got more and more business clients, so he launched QuickSmart IT in 2011.
He is very enthusiastic and passionate about providing the right solutions, at the right price, tailored to each client’s requirements.
His knowledge of the industry is second to none, ranging from cutting edge new technology to simple basic setups.
He really cares about all his clients and he believes in keeping IT simple.
It is not about the quantity but the quality for Adrian.
He regularly provides his clients with reports on what the company has done and he gives recommendations to keep you up to date with the latest advances in technology.
Adrian’s main goal is to be the number one choice for business IT Support for businesses in South Wales and the West of England, with a friendly personalised approach.
His secondary goal is to provide home users with the first-class service they deserve at very competitive prices.
He also loves hiding golf balls ?? in the water and trees and generally crying, while walking around a golf course.
Adrian has a passion for classic cars and has a 1979 Lotus Eclat, which he’d like to be the start of a collection.
He also has a Westfield kit car and like going to Le Man 24 Hour and the Le Mans Classic.
If you have a business, and experiencing any IT challenges, feel free to start a chat and he will do his best to help.
